our clients the proposed solutions to optimise the total cost effectiveness of repairs. Our
People & Facilities
We have a pool of experienced project managers, competent supervisors and highly skilled
tradesmen to execute repairs entrusted to us by our clients. As a wholly owned subsidiary
of Sembawang Shipyard, we have full access to the comprehensive mechanical and electrical
workshops, and steel fabrication facilities of the Yard to support our afloat and
anchorage repair activities.
Mechanical Repairs
We have vast experience in the repairs and overhaul of a wide range of marine equipment
and propulsion machinery plants on vessels either anchored at the anchorage or at the
Roads. This includes the repairs of pumps, inert gas boiler plants and its ancillaries,
valves, winches, cranes, life boats and other ship equipment and the overhaul of the main
and auxiliary engines.
Emergency Repairs
Over the years, we have invested in resources and have accumulated vast experience and
expertise, in carrying out emergency repairs such as the repairs and replacement of a
damaged shipboard crane job, the replacement of anchors, and the hull damage repair of
vessels in port either at anchorage or at the outer-roads.
Motor Repairs and Rewinding
Our fully and comprehensively equipped electrical workshop provides facilities for the
repairs of a wide range of electrical equipment and appliances; including starters,
switchboards, circuit breakers and the rewinding of generators and motors of all sizes.
The Shop is also equipped with a baking oven to carry out repairs and impregnation of
insulation of motors and generators, cadmium electroplating facility and a dynamic
balancing machine to balance rotating equipment up to 2.5 meter diameter and 15 tons
weight.
Riding Crew
To better serve our clients and for greater flexibility and shorter ship turn-around time
in port, we have also equipped ourselves with resources to provide riding crew services to
Clients to either continue or complete repairs, such as pipe-renewal and maintenance of
shipboard machinery and equipment on-voyage.
Tank Cleaning
We provide cleaning services to the hundreds of vessels that called at Sembawang Shipyard
each year for repairs. Over the years, we have accumulated vast experience in cleaning of
the cargo containment spaces of all types of vessels. We can also arrange to have the tank
cleaning disposal of oily waste to be carried out at our sister shipyard in Karimun,
Indonesia and at the anchorage off the shipyard.
Scaffolding
Our stagers are all certified and well-trained in the erection of both tower and hanging
stagings in a prompt and safe way to meet the varying needs of our clients with either our
own staging materials or with staging materials provided by our clients.
